Gianduja Blocks

Unfortunately I found these chocolates tasteless and bland. Was prepared to love them so I'm disappointed. Even the texture was not pleasing.

I have tried lots of gianduja, just so you know, including a number of artisanal chocolate makers. This is great! It hits it out of the park for me. It has great chocolate and hazelnut flavor. I love the like almost burnt caramel flavor and crunchiness of itty bits of feuilletine. It's perfect.

I have been wary ordering chocolate online because there have been more misses than hits. When I saw a reviewer compare the gianduja blocks to Jean-Paul Hevin of Paris, my absolute favorite, I took a chance. These did not disappoint! The pieces are larger than Hevin’s and have slightly more salt, accommodating to U.S. trends. The hazelnut praline has a distinct hazelnut flavor. It is creamy and contains tiny caramelized crunchies. The couverture is appropriately thin and balances the praline perfectly. I will be ordering these regularly.

My brother sent me some for my birthday and enjoyed it so much I had to order more. Wish they had thrown in my free bar for ordering so much though. Sent the email after I placed my order.
