Shipping Information
Our chocolates are packed and shipped using state-of-the-art, temperature sensitive shipping materials to ensure their safe delivery.

Undeliverable Packages
We will not be responsible for packages that are returned as undeliverable. If a returned package needs to be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will apply. If the products have melted due to excessive time away from our kitchen, a second product charge will also apply.

Order Processing
To ensure the quality and freshness of our products, we ship chocolates Monday through Thursday in the San Francisco Bay Area (for delivery by Friday), and Monday through Wednesday nationwide and internationally (for delivery by Friday). This is so that your chocolates arrive to you within two days of being shipped -- not after being in a warm warehouse over the weekend. Orders will be shipped within 1-2 days of being received, and sooner if possible.

If you have an extremely time-sensitive order, please indicate this in your special instructions or notify us at orders@charleschocolates.com. For holiday orders, our website will provide guidelines on order deadlines to ensure guaranteed delivery prior to the holiday.
